Delete your Angy account
Angy watches the groups you turn on and drafts WhatsApp replies for you to approve. You can delete your account and its data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
Open Settings → Delete account and confirm. The server revokes your sessions immediately, stops and removes your WhatsApp session, and deletes your private database.
By email request
If you cannot sign in, email privacy@ken.com.my from your registered address with the subject “Angy account deletion request”. We action requests within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your login sessions — every device is signed out immediately.
- Your private database: watched groups, message history used for context, extracted bookings/appointments/to-dos, detected requests (“open loops”) and their summaries, chat summaries, consent records, drafts, approvals, send attempts, audit log.
- Your linked WhatsApp session (credentials) and push tokens.
This includes records derived from your messages — tasks and bookings, notes you asked Angy to keep, and open-loop summaries — not only the message text they came from.
What is kept, and for how long
- Your account record, including your email address, is kept in a deleted state. This is what lets you sign in again later and start with a clean account. It contains no messages, drafts or tasks.
- Aggregate usage counters (monthly draft/quota totals) and subscription records are kept for billing reconciliation. These are totals tied to your account, not message content.
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax) are retained for the statutory period.
- Rolling daily backups of the databases are kept as a pruned set of recent snapshots, stored encrypted off the server. A deleted account's data ages out as those snapshots are pruned, so it can persist there briefly after deletion.
- Server logs record events such as sign-ins and errors. They do not contain message content or email addresses, and they rotate out over time.
- Nothing else is kept; message content is never sold or used to train models.
Beta waitlist
Asking for closed-beta access on ken.com.my stores an email address, separately from any Angy account, so we can add you to the Google Play tester list. Deleting your Angy account does not remove that entry, and removing the entry does not delete an account. To remove your waitlist entry, email privacy@ken.com.my.
